There was $1.33bn raised across 19 reported deals in the FinTech sector this week, showcasing the ongoing power of the growing sector.
The raise was up considerably on last week’s deals, which saw 15 deals reported and a total of $541m raised.
The key rounds that dominated this week was seen in the home financing and InsurTech sectors, with PropTech Homeward bringing in $450m and Ledgebrooke raising $200m.
Geographically, the US dominated with eight deals. Trailing behind on three each was France and the UK, whilst Israel, Kenya, Germany, the Netherlands and Canada all recorded one deal each.
Market-wise, InsurTech and financial infrastructure firms recorded four deals each, whilst WealthTech and CyberTech firms drew in three. PayTech firms brought in two, and one company each from the PropTech and Blockchain sectors made it into the list.
Research this week from FinTech Global found that global FinTech investment in Q3 2026 reached $27.5bn across 897 deals, representing a 35% increase in funding compared to the $20.3bn raised across 959 deals in Q3 2025.
