Online insurance provider Digital Risks has picked up an investment from early-stage investor and incubator Earlymarket.
The company offers insurance designed specifically to startups and SMEs through its online platform.
Offerings include public and employer’s liability, contents insurance, professional indemnity, cyber and media liability and commercial legal protection, among others. All policies are made monthly, allowing people to cancel or change insurance products any time.
Digital Risks CEO and co-founder Cameron Shearer said, “The industry needs to evolve in so many ways, from distribution to customer engagement. With Digital Risks, we’re shaking off its negative reputation and making insurance work for the customer.
“That’s why we’re so excited to be partnering with Earlymarket. They immediately understood our goals and want to actively support us in creating genuinely innovative products for modern business insurance customers.”
