Milestone Partners has sold PropTech platform eCommission to Lightyear Capital.
Texas-headquartered eCommission buys commission from real estate agents and brokers to give them an advance to help support their cash flow. The client applies online with the sale they would like to advance, it is then digitally signed and agreed by eCommission, the funds are then sent to the client within one business day.
Milestone initially acquired the company late 2013 and over the investment period boosted the annual transaction activity by 200 per cent.
During the holding period, Milestone helped with growth initiatives including increasing underwriting process automation, sales and marketing platforms expansion and the design and launch of the web platforms.
