The Indian FinTech company Lendingkart has raised $30m in a new investment round, claiming that the total money injected into the business now reaches $143m.
Lendingkart, a capital provider for small businesses in India, saw its Series D round being supported by three existing investors.
Financial advisory services firm Fullerton Financial Holdings and early-stage investor India Quotient joined Bertelmann India Investments in the round. Bertelmann India Investments is the Indian investment arm of the German-headquartered mass media company Bertelmann.
Lendingkart has said it would use the new $30m investment to expand its lending range, find new clients and grow its product offering.
The round is smaller than the Series C round Lendingkart raised in February 2018. That round, led by Fullerton Financial Holdings, saw $87m fill the company’s coffers.
