CRE Simple closes seed investment from Grand Ventures and Fin Venture Capital

CRE Simple has closed a seed investment which was led by Grand Ventures and Fin Venture Capital.

Participation also came from Darkknight Ventures, Sandolphon Capital, Duke Angel Network, as well as other private investors from the commercial real estate (CRE) industry.

Alongside the close of the round, CRE Simple has revealed it is one of the six companies to join the REACH Commercial accelerator programme from Second Century Ventures.

With the capital, the company will improve growth by investing in sales, marketing and product development resources. It will also explore strategic relationships and opportunities to expand its lending and SaaS footprint across the CRE ecosystem.

The FinTech is building software solutions which offer a more efficient and transparent lending process. Its technology automates the lending processes by giving everyone involved in the CRE transaction with access to standardized and digitalized data, workflow, and documents, while coordinating communication across every stakeholder.

CRE Simple co-founder and president Laura Millichap said, “Financing is the backbone of the commercial real estate industry, offering rich opportunities to apply technology to reinvent the market.

“Data accuracy, intelligent automation, and market networks are required to deliver more efficient transactions. We are excited to be working with strategic investors and partners to simplify commercial real estate market.”
