Flueid Software Corporation, which automates services within title insurance, real estate and mortgage lending, has received a strategic investment from Aquiline Technology Growth.
The amount of capital raised in the round was not disclosed.
With the capital injection, the company plans to continue the development of its technology, boost product implementations and enter new markets through sales and marketing team expansion.
Flueid designs technology which reduce inefficiencies in the real estate and mortgage lending transaction process, it claims. Leveraging data and automation technology the company automates various backend title processing and closing functions.
The company recently released a underwriter-backed title clearance decision improving their ability to pinpoint loans in their portfolio or point-of-sale. The service also helps to streamline the pipeline of loans.
Flueid CEO Peter Bowman said, “It’s exciting to see how Flueid’s solutions to automate the evaluation of potential consumer and property underwriting risk are being adopted by our customers. Our products not only streamline traditionally manual closing tasks but also enable transparency, which is critical to the ever-evolving closing practices within the title industry.
“ATG’s financial support and significant experience in financial services and technology will help us build upon our vision of providing an enterprise-wide set of automation solutions even more rapidly and broadly.”
