Ohio-based property and casualty carrier Central Insurance has selected One Inc, a payments network for the insurance industry, to digitise claim payments.
Located in Van Wert, Ohio, Central Insurance operates regional offices in Boston, Atlanta, and Dallas, with satellite offices in Columbus and Salt Lake City. The company, which operates with combined assets totalling over $2bn, is looking to create a seamless, real-time inbound and outbound digital payments experience that better serves its customers.
One Inc said it is modernising the insurance industry through a unified and frictionless payment network. Focusing exlcusively on the insurance industry, One Inc helps carriers transform their operations by reducing costs, increasing security, and optimizing customer experience.
The partnership will see Central Insurance deploy One Inc full suite of platforms.

Insurers and InsurTech are increasingly looking to streamline and improve their claim processes. Earlier this year, Ontellus, a records retrieval and claims intelligence company, partnered with Duck Creek Technologies to help insurers manage injury claims.
The integration between Ontellus and the Duck Creek Platform gave insurers the ability to order medical records and receive results within Duck Creek Claims. Ontellus said this would drastically reduce the time needed for entry of assignment information and providing workflow efficiencies.
