Cloverleaf Analytics Bolsters CURE Auto Insurance’s Claims Process Efficiency

Citizens United Reciprocal Exchange (CURE) Auto Insurance, a not-for-profit insurer, is now operational on Cloverleaf Analytics’ insurance intelligence platform.

Headquartered in Princeton, N.J., CURE Auto Insurance was established in 1990, focusing on a person’s driving ability over socio-economic status. Cloverleaf Analytics, on the other hand, is a leading provider of insurance intelligence solutions, committed to delivering advanced tools to assist carriers in achieving substantial growth.

The alliance was driven by CURE’s need for enhanced data accessibility and key performance insights. The switch from a legacy system to Cloverleaf has positioned the insurer favourably for rapid growth. This transition has notably streamlined the company’s claims process across its personal auto line of business in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

CURE Auto Insurance is unique in its business model, emphasising how a person drives over their socio-economic status. This approach, shaped by its founders and current leadership, sets the insurer apart in the industry. Cloverleaf Analytics, meanwhile, offers advanced insurance intelligence solutions, utilising machine learning and other emerging technologies to empower carriers.

Additional benefits of the partnership include better risk assessment, fraud detection, and efficient claims processing, ensuring customers receive optimum results. The platform also provides CURE with invaluable insights, enabling senior leadership to identify new potential growth areas.

As part of the implementation, Cloverleaf developed two significant claims reports for CURE from the ground up: Workload & Reserve and Closed Severity reports. These reports allow CURE to understand its reserves and potential financial risk at any given time.

CURE Auto’s Vice President of Operations, Sean Albert said, “Our search for a solution hinged upon our need to have customisable data reports across all business segments so we could view our operations from a micro and macro vantage point at any time.” CIO of CURE Auto, Douglas Benalan, praised the advanced forecasting, machine learning, and artificial intelligence provided by Cloverleaf, saying, “Thanks to Cloverleaf, our C-suite is empowered to more strategically guide our company to serve the insured better resulting in greater consumer satisfaction and increased revenue and profitability.”
