Plum has revealed an innovative partnership with CityFALCON that will see its investors receive news delivered by AI when utilising its service.
The update will give investors the opportunity to view news in-app from highly regarded publications, featuring the latest updates from the companies they invest in.
The news will be delivered to them by CityFALCON, an AI and machine-learning FinTech based in London.
Plum’s Product Manager for Investor Experience, Rachel Sondhi said: “We’re keen to give our customers access to the most useful tools to keep themselves informed as they continue their investment journey.
“Learning more about the context behind investment movements, or what’s going on behind the scenes at companies they invest in, can help investors to take a more active role in their portfolio management if they so wish.
“At the core of Plum, we are always focused on making the entire money management effortless, so by bringing relevant news into the app for customers, it all becomes a much more seamless experience.
“Now that news is readily available in Plum, we hope our customers will have the best information at their fingertips to inform their next investment decision”.
Ruzbeh Bacha, CEO of CityFALCON, also spoke positively about the partnership, she said: “Our machine-learning and AI-based curation and analysis of news content will enable Plum users to better understand markets and what impacts their portfolios.”
The latest investment into the platform continues a fruitful year for Plum, following the addition of Watchlists and Price Alerts.
