The Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) is set to expand its presence in Singapore as it looks to focus on investment opportunities in Asia-Pacific.
The firm has announced the opening of the AIMCo Singapore office, as it looks to diversify its portfolio globally and tap into attractive growth opportunities in the region.
The office is AIMCo’s first in Asia and third internationally, bringing the firm’s total number of global offices to six, in addition to Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, London, and Luxembourg.

AIMCo is Canada’s diversified institutional investment manager with $164bn of assets under management. The company invests globally on behalf of 17 pension, endowment, and government fund clients in the Province of Alberta.
