Allianz Commercial has made a significant addition to its leadership team by appointing Claudia Valencia as the Global Head of Portfolio Solutions, effective from January 8, 2024.
Claudia will be stationed in London and will report directly to Chief Underwriting Officer Shanil Williams and Global Head of Distribution Jeremy Sharpe.
In this newly established role, Claudia Valencia will play a pivotal part in shaping the global strategy for Portfolio Solutions, encompassing Panels, Facilities, MGAs, Bancassurance, and various other delegated authority functions.

Claudia Valencia brings a wealth of experience to her new role at Allianz Commercial. Her previous position was at AIG, where she served as the Latin America Regional Head of Client and Broker Engagement, based in New York. Throughout her career, Claudia has held various internationally-focused underwriting and market-facing leadership positions with AIG, Zurich, and other prominent insurers in London, Miami, New York, and Colombia.
