Quantifind's new features target market manipulation and more in 2024

RegTech company Quantifind, prides itself on its commitment to delivering high quality risk intelligence solutions. As part of this, the company recently introduced new product features and functionalities at the start of this year, marking a significant advancement in its capabilities.

One of the standout enhancements is the extension of Chinese transliteration capabilities. The proprietary Name Science now includes improved predictions for the ethnolinguistic group of a provided name, along with likely variants of that name based on global naming patterns. This enhancement is particularly vital for extending the coverage to include more Chinese dialects, thereby incorporating both Pinyin and native characters.

Additionally, Quantifind has developed a new model specifically for the transcription of Chinese organization names. This homegrown model is designed to predict the Latinized versions of names based on Chinese characters, similar to Quantifind’s transliteration for individual names.

Quantifind’s product enhancements also extend to more automated reporting features. A new API has been introduced to facilitate the pulling of reports for customer segments under Continuous Monitoring. This Monitor/Metrics API supports various crosstabs that can include results by data source, risk factor, Graphyte user, and/or segment, making it an invaluable tool for fulfilling audit requirements with greater efficiency.

Lastly, Quantifind is refining its focus on specific risk topics, such as Insider Trading and Market Manipulation. By breaking down these broad categories into three distinct subtopics—Insider Trading, Market Manipulation, and Trademark & Patent Infringement—Quantifind is enhancing the specificity and flexibility in Risk Factor selection.
