KYC Portal (KYCP) has introduced an embedded integration with Companies House, strengthening its position in the RegTech market with enhanced UK corporate due diligence capabilities.
The new feature allows KYCP users to search and retrieve official Companies House data directly within the platform. By embedding the dataset into its existing Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) infrastructure, KYCP removes the need for separate logins, third-party accounts or manual rekeying of information during onboarding.
At the heart of the update is KYCP’s Corporate Source Register (CSR), a centralised interface that connects firms to trusted public and third-party corporate data sources. Through this integration, compliance teams can conduct real-time searches using a company name, registration number or individual entity query, and import verified data into KYCP records in just a few clicks.
The system supports automated scraping of core company fields, corporate documents and related key principals. All retrieved data is automatically mapped to KYCP’s internal fields, enabling full entity reconstruction without manual input. Users can import an entire record or selectively choose specific data points and documents, maintaining control over how information is structured.
The feature also highlights differences between existing KYCP records and newly sourced Companies House data, making it easier for compliance teams to spot discrepancies and trigger review workflows. In its initial phase, the integration includes search, review and structured data scraping, with ongoing monitoring capabilities expected in a future release.
Delivered under KYCP’s Pay As You Go token-based model, the service requires no minimum volumes or contractual thresholds. Clients pay only for the searches they perform.
