Cover Genius partners Tongcheng Travel to expand embedded travel insurance

The launch forms part of Tongcheng Travel’s broader international expansion strategy, enabling travellers in both markets to access protection directly within their booking journey, according to FF News. 

By embedding insurance into the travel purchase flow, the collaboration aims to enhance the overall customer experience while supporting the platform’s growth beyond China into global markets.

Through a single API integration and unified commercial agreement, Cover Genius enables travel brands to launch and manage insurance products across multiple markets without navigating separate insurer relationships or regulatory frameworks in each country.

This approach simplifies international expansion and provides a scalable foundation for introducing additional protection products in future markets.
