Mitek joins FICO Marketplace as fraud threats escalate

Mitek

Mitek Systems, a global leader in digital identity verification and fraud prevention, has placed its Verified Identity Platform (MiVIP) on FICO Marketplace, billed as the industry’s first marketplace for composable enterprise decisioning offerings.

The listing is designed to help organisations put AI to work by making it simpler to find, access and roll out a broad selection of ready-built tools, spanning AI models, data services and analytics. According to Mitek, the move tackles a pressing industry challenge: giving firms access to advanced technology without forcing them to surrender the freedom to align teams across the business and stand out through their own proprietary assets and customer journeys.

The partnership lands as criminals deploy ever more elaborate methods, from AI-generated deepfakes and biometric spoofing through to synthetic identity fraud. With that pressure mounting, businesses are being pushed to reach risk decisions more quickly and with greater certainty. By appearing in FICO Marketplace, Mitek allows shared customers to feed reliable identity intelligence straight into their decisioning processes and operational workflows, catching fraudulent activity sooner while keeping the experience smooth for genuine users.

The tie-up means companies running FICO Platform can switch on sophisticated identity checks at pivotal points in the customer relationship, including digital onboarding, account recovery and continuous authentication. Pairing identity assurance with smart decisioning is intended to sharpen the accuracy of fraud detection and deliver safer digital interactions.

FICO Marketplace sits inside FICO Platform and gives customers access to a catalogue of products from vetted, trusted suppliers. The aim is to change how businesses extract value from AI, accelerating the discovery and rollout of data, analytics and decisioning resources that underpin smarter choices and stronger commercial results.

Mitek Systems chief operating officer Garrett Gafke said, “Bringing the Mitek platform into the FICO Marketplace enables enterprises to deploy high-assurance identity verification faster and integrate trusted identity signals directly into business critical decisioning. As fraud threats evolve, organizations need real-time fraud and identity intelligence built into their risk workflows, not bolted on after the fact.”

FICO chief revenue officer Jason Andrew said, “Identity verification and fraud decisioning too often operate independently, and enterprises absorb the cost. This partnership connects Mitek’s identity intelligence directly into FICO’s decisioning layer through FICO Marketplace, giving enterprises the ability to translate identity assurance into faster, more confident decisions that drive better outcomes across the customer lifecycle.”
