INSTANDA teams up with Diesta to bolster insurance payments

INSTANDA, the AI-augmented no-code policy administration platform, has formed a strategic partnership with Diesta, a payments infrastructure firm dedicated to the insurance sector, in a move designed to strengthen the insurance operations value chain.

The tie-up brings together INSTANDA’s configurable policy administration technology and Diesta’s insurance-focused payments capabilities. As a result, insurers, MGAs and brokers building products on INSTANDA will be able to progress from launching a product through to collecting, reconciling and reporting premiums with improved speed, visibility and oversight.

Diesta’s technology has been designed to handle the intricacies of moving money in insurance, linking banks, policy platforms and external data sources into a single operational layer covering receivables, accounting and payables. The firm claims its tools boost finance team productivity, cut down on unallocated cash, compress payment cycles and enhance control over premium reconciliation and settlement.

The collaboration is already operational with several clients across different regions, with millions in policy value passing through an API-connected process. The two companies plan to continue collaborating on joint sales, implementation and client success efforts, supporting insurance firms in modernising both product launch and administration as well as premium collection, reconciliation and reporting.

INSTANDA has been serving the insurance industry since 2015, enabling carriers around the world to respond quickly to shifting customer and market needs through its no-code platform for policy administration and distribution.

Diesta, meanwhile, is developing agentic payment infrastructure for the insurance industry, giving insurers, brokers and MGAs greater control over money movement with less manual effort.

INSTANDA co-founder and group chief revenue officer Derek Hill said, “Insurance organisations are under increasing pressure to launch products faster, operate more efficiently and maintain control as they scale. Policy administration is a critical part of that journey, but it does not sit in isolation. The movement, reconciliation and reporting of premium is equally important to how insurance businesses perform.

“Our partnership with Diesta adds a highly specialised finance operations layer to the INSTANDA ecosystem, helping clients connect the front and back office more effectively. Together, we are giving insurers, MGAs and brokers a practical way to simplify operational complexity while maintaining the flexibility and speed they need to grow.”

Diesta co-founder and CEO Julian Schoemig said, “Having Diesta’s advanced payments and finance operations capabilities embedded into INSTANDA’s offering is a major step towards our mission of enabling real-time payments across the insurance industry. Together, we are helping insurers, brokers and MGAs reduce operational risk, shorten payment cycles and build the future of insurance operations.”
