RelyComply has agreed a partnership with LSEG Risk Intelligence to embed World-Check On Demand into its platform, giving banks and other regulated firms real-time access to sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse media and enforcement information during onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
The tie-up brings LSEG’s API-first World-Check On Demand service directly into RelyComply’s compliance infrastructure, allowing institutions to pull structured, machine-readable intelligence into their existing screening and due diligence workflows rather than managing it as a separate process.
The aim is to help compliance teams cut through the volume of alerts and investigations they handle without needing to add headcount, at a time when false positives continue to eat into the resources AML teams could otherwise direct towards genuine risks.
Under the arrangement, RelyComply’s AI-driven platform will combine customer screening, identity verification, enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring in one system, with LSEG’s risk data feeding directly into those processes. Institutions remain responsible for their own risk assessments and decisions.
The partnership lands as financial institutions in South Africa, the UK and other regulated markets face mounting pressure to tighten financial crime controls, show alignment with Financial Action Task Force recommendations, and keep pace with shifting AML, counter-terrorist financing and Know Your Customer rules.
RelyComply is a financial crime compliance platform that replaces fragmented solutions with a single, interoperable system – deployed faster than legacy alternatives, at materially lower total cost, with AI built for explainability from the ground up.
Beyond the technical integration, both companies frame the deal as part of a broader shift in the compliance sector, where the emphasis is moving away from simply accumulating data and towards proving that compliance systems actually deliver measurable results that satisfy regulators.
RelyComply CEO Brad Elliott said, “For years, organisations focused on gaining access to more data. Today, the challenge is turning that data into measurable outcomes. Regulators increasingly want evidence that compliance programmes and technology solutions are effective, not simply that they exist.
“That expectation extends beyond AML monitoring. Organisations must also demonstrate effective onboarding, due diligence and ongoing risk management. By combining explainable AI-driven capabilities and automation, we help compliance teams manage compliance requirements more efficiently and at scale.
“Our partnership with LSEG Risk Intelligence helps organisations streamline compliance processes while strengthening their ability to manage financial crime risk with confidence.”
LSEG Risk Intelligence head of product, screening, Priya Nallan said, “Financial crime compliance is increasingly shaped by the ability to access and operationalise trusted intelligence in real time. World-Check On Demand was designed to help organisations embed this directly into their workflows.
“Through the partnership with RelyComply, we are helping compliance teams access timely, structured intelligence within the processes they already use, supporting more efficient screening, due diligence and ongoing monitoring.”
