Canopius Group, a prominent global specialty (re)insurer, has welcomed Valentina Minetti as its new Head of Medical Professional Liability (MPL).
With almost thirty years of expertise in healthcare lines and actuarial science, Minetti’s appointment signifies a strategic move for Canopius, as it looks to accelerate the growth of its new medical professional liability division.
Minetti’s extensive background in healthcare lines and actuarial science, she is poised to drive growth and innovation within the medical professional liability division.
Joining Ashley Moulton, Healthcare Underwriter, and Alex Tindall, Underwriting Analyst, she completes a formidable team dedicated to expanding Canopius’ market share in this specialised area.
Previously serving as an Active Underwriter at Coverys Syndicate 1975 and overseeing Beazley’s US hospitals portfolio, Minetti brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
Her extensive career began in actuarial roles at RSA and GE Financial, where she honed her skills before joining Groupama.
