Vestmark launches AI wealth management tool Pulse

Vestmark, a WealthTech firm and provider of wealth management technology and services, has unveiled Vestmark Pulse, an AI intelligence solution designed to give wealth managers round-the-clock visibility into client portfolios.

Pulse operates continuously in the background, drawing on portfolio positions, SEC filings, market news, client CRM data and other signals to flag where attention is needed and surface recommended actions directly within the Vestmark platform. The tool is available to all wealth managers on the platform.

Unlike AI tools that limit themselves to surfacing information, Pulse is designed to help users act, supporting workflows spanning rebalancing, withdrawals, trade execution and personalised client outreach.

When a portfolio breaches a concentration limit, a tax-loss harvesting opportunity arises, or a market event affects a specific holding, the wealth manager receives a notification, with the event automatically evaluated against that client’s portfolio, constraints and history, and paired with a clear suggested course of action. Teams can review and act within a single click inside the Vestmark platform, compressing what previously required hours of manual analysis into seconds, while human-in-the-loop controls ensure advisors retain oversight and final decision-making authority.

Pulse supports a range of use cases. Its Morning Brief feature delivers a personalised daily digest analysing overnight market movements, prioritising actions and flagging upcoming deadlines. Proactive Client Outreach identifies clients affected by market events and generates personalised talking points and suggested messaging for advisor approval.

Continuous Portfolio Management monitors holdings against market movements and news, surfacing trade suggestions informed by client-specific restrictions and tax considerations. Meeting Preparation delivers client snapshots, covering allocation, performance, attribution and liquidity needs, formatted for immediate use ahead of client interactions. A Compliance Pre-Flight function screens every trade suggestion and client communication against investment policy statements, concentration limits and regulatory requirements before execution, while preserving the advisor’s full control and execution authority.

Vestmark is a provider of wealth management technology and services, with its platform underpinning portfolio management for some of the largest wealth management firms in the United States.

Vestmark chief AI officer and chief technology officer Freedom Dumlao said, “The opportunity for AI in wealth management is not to generate more information. Advisors already have more information than they can act on.

“The real opportunity is to close the gap between knowing what matters and doing something about it. Pulse was built for that. It continuously identifies what needs attention, evaluates it in the context of the client and the portfolio, and helps the wealth managers and their teams move directly into action while staying in control.”

Vestmark CEO Karl Roessner said, “Vestmark has spent more than two decades building a platform that rebalances, trades, and reports on over $2 trillion in assets. Pulse builds on that foundation by not only identifying what needs attention but also helping wealth managers act on it directly within the platform. It represents the next step in how Vestmark is helping firms identify what matters, evaluate it in context, and act within the workflows they already use.”
