More people are shopping online. But in Russia, not everyone is equally excited about internet retail.
That’s according to a new study by research company Mediascope. Having surveyed people living in cities of over 600,000 citizens, the researchers revealed that people between the ages of 25 and 34 were the most likely to shop online.
As for their payment method of choice, Russian shoppers seemed to prefer cards to pay for things online over alternative payment methods. Of the people polled 90.5 per cent opted to pay by card, 89.7 per cent used online banking and 77.6 per cent used their e-wallets.
People aged between 35 and 44 were the most likely to use bank cards to pay online. Of the people polled, 94.4 per cent in that bracket opted to pay with bank cards.
