Money-transfer company Ripple has over 300 customers and counting on its books.
At the same time, the company announced that the number of transactions done over RippleNet, its network of banks and other financial services organisations, has increased ten-fold since 2018.
“This year has been our strongest for Ripple yet,” said Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple. “In 2019 we’ve seen continued momentum with customers, growth of RippleNet and adoption of On-Demand Liquidity. In just a year since we launched ODL, we are already making an impact on the bottom line for our customers. We’re excited to continue this momentum into next year and for the expansion of ODL into new markets.”
The news comes after the blockchain-powered money-transfer company acquired the Icelandic asset trading company Algrim a month ago.
Earlier in October, Ripple announced it was offering its solution through Finastra’s payment solutions to support faster cross-border growth.
