Italian InsurTech Insoore said to receive investment from Mercurio Holding

Insoore, which builds risk evaluation and digital claims management software, has reportedly received an investment from Mercurio Holding.

The deal sees Club degli Investitori, an investment association, has sold part of its stake in the InsurTech to Mercurio, according to a report from Startupbusiness.

Italy-based Insoore enables insurance and fleet management companies to optimise the claims process via video-photographic inspections and damage estimations, which is created by a community of thousands of experts in real-time and on-demand.

Its technology modernises traditional approaches to making insurance claims, streamlining the claims process, information collection and related data processes. It also enhances the claims management and costs.

The InsurTech’s partners include Generali, prima, AON, Reale Group, Sara and more.

There have been several InsurTech companies to close funding this year. Earlier in the week, German InsurTech Clark collected 69m in its Series C round to support its mobile app that lets consumers manage all their insurance policies in one location.

Other companies to close rounds this month include InsurTech100 companies Humn and ThingCo.
