AXA IM names new head of ESG and Sustainability

AXA Investment Managers has appointed Marie Luchet as the new head of ESG and Sustainability at AXA IM Prime.

According to ESG Today, Luchet will oversee the company’s sustainability strategy as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and report to AXA IM Prime’s CEO Pascal Christory.

Luchet has joined AXA IM Prime from financial services risk and compliance consultancy firm ACA Group, where she led its Europe and UK ESG strategy.

Prior to that she held roles at Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI), ECOFI Investissements, and CIC Market Solutions, after starting her career as Environmental law counsel then Sustainability Officer at PSA Peugeot Citroen

Christory said, “We are delighted to welcome Marie, who will steer AXA IM Prime’s developments on ESG in line with AXA IM and AXA Group’s sustainability roadmaps. Marie brings more than two decades of experience in Sustainable Finance and Corporate Social Responsibility, and she will be instrumental in continuing to develop our sustainability strategy, as well as championing ESG across the business as it is a pivotal lever for AXA IM Prime’s value generation and innovation for the benefit of our clients”.

Pledge, a climate technology leader headquartered in London, has successfully garnered $10m in a Series A funding round.
