Mitiga scores investment from Cisco Investments for its IR2 platform

Mitiga, the “cloud and SaaS incident response leader”, has proudly announced a strategic investment from Cisco Investments.

This financial support is aimed at accelerating the adoption rate of Mitiga’s IR2 platform, which is quickly becoming a beacon for modern cloud investigation and response solutions.

The influx of capital will bolster Mitiga’s expansion in the market, addressing the needs of evolving enterprises in search of cutting-edge security tools for their cloud and SaaS platforms. In the realm of cloud investigation and response, Mitiga stands out by offering the industry’s sole comprehensive Cloud Investigation and Response Automation (CIRA) solution, known as IR2. This avant-garde system gives companies the edge in incident response, enabling rapid counteractions against breaches in cloud and SaaS spaces.

Mitiga’s CEO and co-founder, Tal Mozes, expressed immense gratitude towards the new collaboration with Cisco Investments. Tal Mozes said, “We are thrilled to add Cisco Investments to our group of investors and see it as a huge opportunity to have a larger influence on the CIRA market. I’ve been in the cybersecurity industry for over 25 years, and during that time there have been few advancements in the ways companies handle incident response (IR).

“Prior to Mitiga entering the market, IR was only offered as a professional service which is not compatible with a modern architecture that includes cloud and SaaS applications. Today, incident response needs to deliver faster response times, reduced investigation overhead and continuous attack detection. We look forward to working with Cisco to continue delivering modern solutions that help companies minimise the impact of inevitable cloud and SaaS related breaches.”
