Collective, the all-in-one financial platform designed solely for self-employed entrepreneurs, has unveiled its Insurance Center, a new hub allowing members across all 50 US states to select and oversee cover for their solo ventures.
Through the launch, general liability, business insurance and major medical health cover are now available together within a single integrated space, meaning members never need to leave their dashboard. The company claims to be the first AI-powered back office to bundle insurance alongside formation, bookkeeping, payroll and tax services for solo business owners.
Two coverage lines are available at launch. Working with Coverdash, members are able to receive real-time quotes from a carrier marketplace, secure cover within minutes and handle certificates of insurance and existing policies in one location. Meanwhile, a tie-up with Solo Health enables members to sign up for a health plan tailored to the self-employed, with monthly premiums flowing automatically into their Collective payroll and tax calculations.
The firm said the launch marks a significant milestone in its ambition to automate and streamline the entire financial system for solopreneurs, and described the Insurance Center as an initial step towards a broader vision beyond the back office. Unlike single-state or single-product point solutions, the hub has been designed to serve its entire membership nationwide.
Collective is a financial platform built exclusively for self-employed solopreneurs, supporting them in forming and structuring their business, handling bookkeeping and payroll, optimising taxes and now protecting themselves and their companies, all backed by an in-house team of specialists.
Collective CEO Hooman Radfar said, “Our members already trust Collective with their books, their payroll, and their taxes – insurance was the obvious next step.
“Because it’s built into the platform, members get better pricing than they’d find shopping alone, and none of the busywork of a separate vendor: no new login, no manual entry, no reconciling costs by hand. It’s one more thing off a solopreneur’s plate, which is the whole point of Collective – making it easier to run a business by yourself.
