Earnix uses AI to close insurers’ execution gap

Earnix, an AI provider specialising in insurance decisioning, has launched its Q4 2026 Release, introducing updates to its pricing, rating and customer engagement tools to reduce manual workloads and improve operational control for insurers.

The release focuses on helping insurers implement pricing changes more efficiently, manage data and models, prepare regulatory filings and explain premium decisions to policyholders. It combines enhancements to existing capabilities with targeted AI and automation designed to address practical operational challenges.

Insurers face growing pressure to respond to changing risks and market conditions while maintaining pricing discipline, regulatory compliance and customer trust. However, translating pricing strategies into operational changes, maintaining complex models and preparing regulatory documentation can require substantial manual work and coordination across teams. These demands can slow the implementation of decisions that affect business performance.

Within pricing and rating, Earnix has introduced changes intended to simplify rating across multiple states and products, automate base rate adjustments and improve integration with ISO Electronic Rating Content (ISO ERC). Enhanced testing capabilities also allow insurers to assess changes more thoroughly before deployment.

The customer engagement updates include AI-powered document analysis and clearer, more consistent premium explanations, helping frontline teams respond to policyholder questions more efficiently. Enhanced oversight of AI agents and improved recommendations are also designed to support the use of AI in customer-facing workflows while retaining human supervision.

Data and model management improvements include more granular data retention controls, flexible analytical capabilities and greater visibility into model structures and dependencies. For regulatory preparation, updated rate manuals and reusable filing templates aim to reduce repetitive formatting tasks, allowing teams to focus more on validation and review.

Earnix describes itself as an AI company built specifically for insurance decisioning. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in AI, risk, pricing, rating and analytics, the company applies specialised AI across pricing, underwriting, claims, retention and customer engagement. Its AIOS platform is designed to coordinate intelligence across the decision lifecycle, supporting governed, real-time decisions.

Earnix chief product and technology officer Be’eri Mart said, “Our customers are tackling challenges that span teams and functions, from adapting to changing risk to helping a policyholder understand their premium. That is driving us to expand both the breadth of our portfolio and how our capabilities work together. With Q4 2026, we’re removing practical barriers between analysis and execution, using AI and automation where they can make a meaningful difference, and giving insurance professionals more ways to apply their expertise to deliver better outcomes for their businesses and customers.”

Celent’s Karlyn Carnahan said, “The next competitive battleground in insurance is how effectively insurers put intelligence to work on the decisions that affect business performance. Investing in more sophisticated models and AI will deliver limited value if teams still struggle to implement changes or explain outcomes. Insurers need capabilities that close those gaps, making better decisions easier to execute, govern, and communicate.”
