Gresham, a global provider of enterprise data management (EDM) solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with FundGuard, the cloud-native, AI-enabled investment accounting platform, aimed at delivering unified, data-first portfolio insight to institutional investors.
The collaboration integrates FundGuard’s multi-book investment accounting capabilities with Gresham’s EDM solutions, allowing institutional investors, asset managers, and fund administrators to work from a single source of clean, auditable data spanning public and private asset classes, jurisdictions, and functions.
The joint offering is designed to tackle a longstanding challenge across the industry: despite significant investment in analytics and unified portfolio systems, many firms continue to struggle with data fragmentation and intra-day reporting difficulties. The combined solution connects investment accounting outputs directly into the enterprise data ecosystem, enabling faster, better-informed decisions while strengthening resilience, transparency, and operational control.
The partnership brings together FundGuard’s cloud-native investment accounting engine, which consolidates cross-asset class IBOR, ABOR, reconciliation, and workflows onto a single system, with Gresham’s EDM capabilities, which provide validated data inputs, lineage, and governance infrastructure.
The result is a joint offering built around several capabilities: tight cloud-native connectivity across front and back office, support for growing assets under management across asset classes while maintaining consistency, a cohesive single source of truth through direct integration of FundGuard’s accounting engine into Gresham’s data governance layer, AI-driven data accuracy and timeliness, and open architectures designed to support continued innovation and scalability.
FundGuard chief commercial officer Simon Behan said, “A true total portfolio view starts with data intelligence. Our partnership establishes a modern foundation for institutional investors who want real-time, multi-asset, multi-book insight without the high costs of a fragmented data architecture”.
Gresham chief revenue officer Nathan Wolaver said, “Clients can now rely on a single, consistent, and transparent view of their investment data, driving operational efficiency, performance insight, and regulatory confidence. By bringing together enterprise data management, investment accounting and business intelligence tools, our collaboration with FundGuard creates a unified data foundation that helps clients make better-informed decisions with greater control and confidence.”
