Seeds Investor, which provides financial advisors with the tools to offer personalised and engaging investing experiences, has raised $2.7m in seed funding.
The investment was led by Social Leverage, with commitments also coming from DuContra Ventures and The Compound Capital Fund I, which is the affiliated venture capital fund of Ritholtz Wealth Management.
Several angel investors also joined the round, including FA Match CEO Ryan Shanks and former Goldman Sachs co-head of technology Paul Walker.
In addition to the seed round, Social Leverage general partner Matt Ober joined the FinTech company’s board of directors.
The seed funds have been earmarked to help Seeds Investor hire more staff and bolster its platform to offer greater personalisation.
Seeds Investor was founded in 2019 by Zach and Michael Conway. The duo both served as financial advisors and noticed that while demand for personalisation around investing was accelerating, many of their peers lacked the requisite tools and confidence to offer this.
The company provides financial advisors and firms with the tools to engage with investors and build deeper relationships. Its digital assessment tool helps uncover what matters to investors and allows advisors to connect them with personalised investments.
Seeds Investor founder and CEO Zach Conway said, “We’re thrilled to welcome investors who harbour a deep understanding of the advisory space and the distinct opportunity that lies ahead.
“As we enter this next chapter of our company’s evolution, we look forward to helping advisors elevate the emotional connection with clients, tapping into their deepest motivations and delivering appropriately customised portfolio solutions. We’re committed to ensuring that advisors have the tools they need to nurture client wealth and relationships in tandem.”
