Melissa, a global intelligence solution helping businesses unlock their data, has released a new Know Your Customer (KYC) solution.
The solution, Melissa KYC, offers a unified compliance toolset which enables businesses to verify the identity of their customers easily, securely, and conveniently, it claims. The end-to-end identity verification solution includes ID card and document authentication, biometrics and liveness confirmation to ease customer onboarding and due diligence.
Its mobile app captures identity documentation either in-person or remotely within three minutes. The authentication process consists of three stages, digital scanning a document, checking these by optical character recognition, verifying an individual’s liveness though a short video picture, and then confirming they are the same person as the scanned document.
Verification is done in real-time, and multi-sourced data is used to standardise, correct and match customer records globally.
