AvidXchange integrates invoice-to-pay with QuickBooks

AvidXchange, an accounts payable automation software and payment solution developer, has integrated an invoice-to-pay application programming interface with Intuit QuickBooks Online.

This new offering provides customers using QuickBooks Online, with a fully automated, end-to-end, cloud-based AP and payment solution.

The integration enables automatic syncing of accounting codes, vendor information, invoices and payments via combined AvidInvoice, AvidPay and QuickBooks Online technology. Through this, users can save time previously spent manually handling the tasks.

Additionally, AvidXchange stated the end-to-end automated process provides more insight and transparency into the payment data, allowing customers to learn from each transaction, finding patterns, repeat payments and more.

Being digital, the technology also means accounting costs can be reduced as they can save on buying envelops and stamps.

AvidXchange chief growth officer Dan Drees said, “Adding an integration for QuickBooks Online to our existing QuickBooks portfolio showcases our dedication to improving our solutions to meet the needs of our customers today.

“This is an exciting new integration for us, as well as the middle market as a whole, as we expand our capabilities across more existing platforms.”

Intuit, the parent company of QuickBooks, recently hit the headlines for its acquisition of SeedFi. This deal was aimed at boosting the capabilities of its Credit Karma solution.
