Arch Insurance International has announced the promotion of Barbara Rizzi to Chief Claims Officer, effective immediately.

Rizzi will lead the claims function and strategy of Arch, overseeing operations in the London Market, UK Regional Market, Australia, and the EU. Based in London, she will report to Kirsten Valder, Deputy CEO of Arch Insurance International.

She will bring over 20 years of experience in claims management and legal practice to her new role. Having joined Arch in 2013, Rizzi previously served as Head of Third-Party Claims. Prior to her tenure at the firm, she gained valuable experience working for prominent law firms such as Clyde & Co LLP and Kennedys Law LLP, specialising in insurance law. Rizzi is a qualified solicitor in both England & Wales and Italy.

In addition to her professional achievements, Rizzi is actively involved in supporting career advancement for women at Arch through her role as Co-Chair of Arch’s UK Women & Allies Network. This network fosters networking, mentorship, and sponsorship opportunities for women within the organisation.
