FIFA, the governing body for global football, and Bank of America, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, have announced an expanded partnership for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™.
This new collaboration builds on their existing agreement, with Bank of America already serving as the official bank sponsor for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The partnership aims to promote the growth of football globally while creating positive economic and social impacts in host communities.
By collaborating on both tournaments, FIFA and Bank of America seek to enhance fan engagement and ensure widespread benefits from these landmark events.
FIFA oversees global football competitions and sets international standards for the sport. It is responsible for prestigious tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup™ and aims to use football as a vehicle for global unity and development.
Bank of America is a multinational financial services leader offering a wide range of banking and investment products.
With a significant presence across the United States and globally, the bank is committed to fostering economic growth and social progress in the communities it serves.
As part of the agreement, matches for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ will take place in 11 cities across the USA from 15 June to 13 July 2025.
The tournament will feature 32 teams, including representatives from all six football confederations. It will kick off in Miami and conclude in New York New Jersey.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted the significance of this collaboration: “We are thrilled to have Bank of America on board for the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup.
In recent months we’ve enjoyed detailed discussions with Bank of America’s leadership about FIFA’s mission both on and off the pitch, so we’re delighted that they’ve joined us on our journey to redefine global club football in addition to working side-by-side with us for FIFA World Cup 2026.”
Bank of America’s Chair and CEO, Brian Moynihan, said, “This partnership with FIFA, for both World Cup 2026 and now Club World Cup 2025, sharpens our focus on deepening client relationships through the most iconic sporting events in the world, and generating lasting economic impact, globally and locally.”
The competition will feature top clubs from each confederation, including the AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), Concacaf (North and Central America and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe).
This expanded tournament will provide fans with an unparalleled football experience, uniting the global club football community like never before.
