InvestNext, a company specialising in real estate investment management, has raised $15m in a Series B funding round.
This significant financial injection was led by Beringea, marking a strategic effort to evolve the platform and broaden its reach to assist firms in managing the complexities of an increasingly regulated and investor-driven market.
InvestNext stands out as a leader in providing solutions tailored for real estate investment professionals to streamline capital management and ensure compliance accuracy. The platform focuses on facilitating capital raising, improving General Partners and Finance Leaders’ operations, and enhancing compliance and investor relations activities. With its inception rooted in addressing the intricate aspects of real estate investing, InvestNext has developed a comprehensive suite of tools for investor subscription documentation, secure payments, and automated cap table management.
The newly acquired funds are earmarked for expanding InvestNext’s platform capabilities. The company aims to introduce new tools that will aid General Partners (GPs) in navigating compliance challenges, raising capital, and engaging investors more effectively. This move is designed to solidify InvestNext’s position as the go-to platform for real estate private capital management, providing transparency similar to that of public markets.
Amid a backdrop of technological and real estate market challenges, InvestNext has demonstrated resilience and growth, boasting a 96% customer retention rate and supporting over 1,600 GP clients across the US and Canada. These clients manage over 70,000 global investors in more than 105,000 active investments, highlighting the platform’s extensive reach and reliability.
Despite this success, the co-founders Kevin Heras, Michael Gisi, and Matthew Attou have maintained their commitment to stable, scalable growth, which has influenced their approach to this funding round. This perspective is echoed by Ben Bernstein, Principal at Beringea and an incoming director on InvestNext’s board, who praised the platform’s capacity to empower key stakeholders in real estate investment to operate more efficiently and forge stronger relationships with investors.
