Aviva is a leading player in the insurance sector, recognised globally for its robust insurance solutions and services. With a broad portfolio that caters to various segments, the company has entrenched its position as a trusted name in the industry.

Jason Storah, a seasoned professional with two decades in the industry, has been appointed as the CEO of UK & Ireland General Insurance. Tracy Garrad, boasting an illustrious career in financial services, insurance, and healthcare, will be stepping into the role of CEO of Aviva Canada.

Storah has a rich history with Aviva, having previously led Aviva Canada as its CEO. His leadership saw the company grow its Gross Written Premium (GWP) by 34%, clinching the position of the second-largest General Insurer in Canada. He has also held the Chief Distribution Officer role at Aviva.

Furthermore, she holds the position of a Non-Executive Director at The London Stock Exchange Group plc.

Following these appointments, Adam Winslow, the previous CEO of UK & Ireland General Insurance, will be leaving the company to explore new opportunities outside of Aviva.

Jason Storah commented, “It’s a huge honour and responsibility to be asked to lead the UK and Ireland General Insurance business. I’m excited to take on this new role and join a fantastic team that works tirelessly to grow our business and support our customers.”
