The Austin-based firm revealed Dave Harden been recruited as CTO, and is now set to continue Green Dot’s pursuit to deliver seamless and scalable banking and payment tools for consumers and businesses.

Harden, formerly the Managing Director and Head of Core Banking Technology Transformation at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), now takes the helm as Green Dot’s Chief Technology Officer. His previous experience includes pivotal roles at Bridgewater Associates, where he honed his technology leadership skills.

At Green Dot, he will oversee the development and delivery of technology platforms, supporting direct customers and growing banking as a service (BaaS) partnerships. His calm leadership style and track record in efficient navigation through growth and change are seen as assets for Green Dot’s evolution.
