The Black Car Fund adopts CLARA Analytics AI to enhance claims management and accuracy

The Black Car Fund, a not-for-profit organisation established by New York State, has announced its partnership with CLARA Analytics, a leader in the application of artificial intelligence in the insurance sector.

This collaboration aims to substantially improve outcomes for New York’s for-hire vehicle operators through enhanced workers’ compensation insurance processes.

The organisation has secured the integration of CLARA Optics and CLARA Triage technologies into their systems. These advancements are anticipated to refine medical results for injured drivers, boost reserve accuracy, and reduce the workload on claims adjusters.

CLARA’s technologies utilise predictive AI, generative AI, and large language models to automate and optimise the transcription and analysis of medical records and claims data. This enables adjusters to quickly assess and respond to claims, ensuring that high-risk cases are prioritised and managed efficiently.

The CLARA Triage solution allows adjusters to quickly identify high-risk casualty claims and flag them for resolution. The AI is built on a database of millions of closed claims to provide a high level of predictive accuracy and broad benchmarking capabilities.

Heather H. Wilson, CEO of CLARA Analytics, said, “The Black Car Fund provides a vitally important service to tens of thousands of for-hire vehicle drivers throughout New York. We are excited to support The Black Car Fund’s efforts to provide the highest level of service for injured drivers, eliminate administrative work for busy adjusters, and drive better claim outcomes for all parties. We’re pleased that they have chosen CLARAty.ai as their claims intelligence platform.”
