Fenergo has unveiled its Digital Subscriptions capability, embedded directly within its Investor Portal, bringing the fund subscription process into a single digital workflow for the first time.
The new offering lets asset managers and other buyside firms connect investor onboarding, KYC and fund subscription processes within one platform. Rather than relying on paper-based agreements that have historically sat outside the broader client lifecycle, firms can now convert those static documents into structured digital workflows delivered through a unified portal experience.
The launch addresses a longstanding gap in investor onboarding. While KYC and related processes have increasingly moved online, fund subscription agreements have largely remained manual and disconnected. With Digital Subscriptions integrated within the Fenergo Investor Portal, the two are brought together so investors can move from initial onboarding through to capital commitment without leaving a single interface. The solution is designed as an optional add-on to Fenergo’s existing CLM platform, enabling current clients to expand their digital capabilities while preserving the same underlying data and compliance framework.
Beyond operational improvements, the capability is intended to help firms scale their fund distribution more effectively. By reducing friction in the subscription process and increasing transparency, Fenergo says firms can accelerate investor onboarding, improve conversion rates and build stronger investor relationships. Key benefits include structured data capture that can be reused across the client lifecycle, built-in regulatory validations, audit trails and governance controls, as well as reduced manual processing and fewer errors in the path to investment.
